Computer vs Human Brain

In this staggeringly breathless rate of new inventions, where "the most advanced" technology becomes obsolete in a few years, lets pause and ask ourselves the question that skeptics love to ask- Can computers ever replace the human brain?

                                    Computers have been created by man using the intelligence given to him which distinguishes him from other beings. It is the finest product of human intelligence. Man created it with an intension to reduce the burden placed upon him. To a large extent we find that the computers are successfully serving the purpose of their invention. Most often we are faced with a question whether we will witness a complete take over by the computers. This question though can be argued upon can have a convincing  answer. The human brain is undoubtedly superior to the computer. It will be illogical to call the created better than the creator.

                                                            A lot of my friends agree with me on this issue. I got varied reasons in support of this answer. Computers can not think of all aspects of performing a task and can think only intellectually. The emotional and situational aspects are completely ignored which  are very important.  Computers have been made by man and all that it provides us with is either human invention or human discovery. In any case it is felt that the human brain is far superior to the computers. They  are nothing better than robots! They do what they are made to do. But when I turned to some others with the same question they had a different answer to give. They say with a computer all the events happening around the globe are just a click away and even its memory has a larger storage space. These are little handicaps of the human brain which cant be denied. Don’t you think so? 

                                                                            If we go back to the time when people were completely free from mechanical dependence we will find that the human brain is much more efficient than its products. Although we cannot deny the exceptional speed with which it works we cannot forget the unique creativeness that our brain posses. We must also remember that once a computer is programmed it has to function that way until the program is changed which is again not possible without human assistance. But our mind is free from this limitation. We have the scope to change our mind according to the situation. Therefore man has to rely on his brain however developed his computer may be!
